forgot i had this, but here goes nothin’
Well this semester has been full of some of the best things i’ve ever been able to experience, but it has also knocked me down and frankly been quite shitty at other points.
Working with the BU hockey team has been unreal, and i honestly wouldn’t trade it for the world (ok, maybe the world, but for a class it’s pretty kick ass). I’ve met so many big name people and every time i go to work with them i’m reminded of why i i’ve wanted to do this since i was a little kid..it’s just unreal.
Brave’s Field Way is also starting to take off! For those of you who don’t know, my new band is a two man acoustic/pop band. and for being two college kids, we’re doing pretty well for ourselves as far as starting to create music! we’re actually ready to sit down and start recording soon, and then hopefully many gigs to come, so we’ll see where that goes, but i’m super excited about it! www.myspace.com/bravesfieldway
I know i’ve posted this before, but my friends are the absolute shit, too. I honestly can’t get enough, and they are what gets me through the day on many occasions. So, you know who you are, and i f****** love you all to death. (one day till the weekend!)
On the flip side, i’ve played the unfortunate role of the crush who has no idea how to tell the crushee on a couple other occasions this semester, and damn that sucks. long story short, i give it a try, and basically get knocked down flat. sure it sucks, but it’s made me realize some things about other people, but most importantly, myself. I AM ME. yes, how cliche, i know i know. but seriously, i am on a mission to be the weirdo that i am, the one who laughs at anything and everything, the one who makes stupid mistakes but takes them for what their worth.
SO take that as you will, but i’m a kid at heart, and there are NO two ways around that. When someone else feels for me for all of those reasons, then its fate.

this weekend was some insane fun. i love all of my friends so much. but the most mind blowing thing to come out of this weekend is the fact that im kinda of excited for this week. I’m really starting to love (most) of my classes and where im heading, i really like this.
p.s. i’ll still take that record label so i can drop out, but for now, i am content.

..I haven’t done this in a while, however, so many new things have come up! I’m in a band, i didn’t get my second tattoo, i love my classes, i’m the athletic trainer for the hockey team, i’ve met a lot of awesome new people, i went to a red sox games with friends, and am in love with the city of boston. YESSIR.

day. week. semester. lets make it the best one yet.

four days
so i leave for school in four days, and i couldn’t be more excited, like legitimately couldn’t be. over the past year ive learned who my real friends are, and many of them so happen to live in boston. i’ve loved my time here in lil’ ol’ cumberland, rhode island, but people’s friendships are tested when distance is put in the way. there was no way that i was staying in rhode island to go to college, everyone here does that, and i needed to get out, see things, and meet some of the most amazing people i’ve ever met. i don’t mean to sound like i don’t have any friends at home, because so of my longest relationships and friendships have their roots here, and those will never be broken (you know who you are). Maybe i’m not the best (individually) at staying in touch with people, but it takes two to tango, and i give it my best shot. i’m just saying after numerous adventure to NYC, Boston, and elsewhere with people who DON’T happen to live just a block down the road. in fact, these people live throughout the USA! it just shows that i’ve met some absolutely amazing people who hopefully feel the same way about me.
cumberland, i love you, and you will ALWAYS have a place in my heart, but i think i can officially say that Boston is my home.
